I have recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati's College of Conservatory of Music, with a Bachelor's in Electronic Media. While in college, I became proficient in the broadcast industry as well as developmental business skills. I gained working knowledge of radio and television production, marketing, advertising, promotions, finance, and sales.
During my last year in college, I was an intern at Riverbend Music Center (CCE) for the Sales and VIP Premium Seat Program Department. Through this experience I learned the many marketing, sales, and public relations skills that go into promotions of local concert events. From this internship, I was hired by Riverbend to work in productions, assisting Riverbend's production manager and various bands' managers in the various tasks needed during a show. Since the first summer season, I have continued to help out other venues such as Taft Theatre, US Bank Arena, and Madison Theater in assisting the production managers with their responsibilities involving running a show. Over the past years, I also worked with Live Nation and Belkin Productions volunteering to work with the marketing departments of venues in distributing event promotions and public relations.
For the past eight years, I have worked for the City of Cincinnati as an Events Specialist for the Division of Waterfront Special Events. Within the company, I have held many different positions and responsibilities. I have played a key role in the event planning and procedures for many festivals, races, and concerts, including: River Fest, Kids Fest, Tall Stacks, Race for the Cure, Mobile Skate Park Series, and many more. I have assisted in audio production for P&G Pavilion, Schott Amphitheatre, along with City Cable Productions for City Council Meetings. During my time at Waterfront, I also ran various other positions such as parking, security, and assistant supervisor for the Skating Pavilion and the Fitness and Rowing Center. I have also helped to coordinate events with various local media companies in both promotions and event sponsorship. Recently I had the honor of planning the programming the CRC 80th Birthday Celebration.
