While studying Audio Production at Ohio University I had the opportunity to record many groups in a variety of different manners, including in the studio, on location or in concert. These recordings were a combination of academic course work, academic recording projects, involvement in a record label and independent recording projects and a liberal arts education.

Worked at the Ohio University School of Music as a Senior Sound Engineer provide me with the opportunity to experiment with recording techniques, while still recording concerts that were important and need to be recorded correctly. During my tenure I recorded over 100 recitals or concerts through the School of Music. Another part of my job was to install equipment when needed, which included a mixer, 96 point patchbay, Digi 002 and a Masterlink.

Was hired to remove and reinstall audio equipment for Tower Hill School’s theater. Tasks included but were not limited to tracing/labeling wires, desoldering and soldering a patchbay, hooking in varying audio systems, grounding poweramps, setting up a mixer and giving the theater the ability to record effectively. I was also brought in to be the Sound Designer for the school’s production of Once Upon a Mattress.

Being involved in Brick City Records took up a significant part of my studio time. I produced, engineered and mixed Brannigan Dastardly’s EP and subsequent LP The Last Great Summer Romance. My involvement in Brick City Records included a term as Vice President of Production.

Bachelors of Science in Communication from Ohio University. Majored in Audio Production. Graduated November 2008.
