Records, I broke onto the R&B and smooth Jazz charts, when a song from my debut album that spoke of my faith fell into the hands

of the program director of the biggest Christian radio station in the country, O.C.'s K.Y.M.S. quickly turning into a nation-wide # 1

Gospel hit. Even as an outsider to the Nashville scene I was able to dominate the C.C.M. and Gospel music charts for a decade. I've

worked with Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Rick James, Miles Davis, Sammy Davis Jr., Nelson Riddle, Andre Crouch and MC

Hammer. I currently hold the record for the longest playing no.1 single in Christian Music history for my smash hit “Jesus Love ya” of

which the album is featured in TIME/LIFE'S "the 100 Greatest Albums in Christian Music".

My vocal tone is similar to that of Donnie Hathaway and Stevie Wonder which has made me a cult favorite amongst R&B and Soul

music enthusiasts around the world. My songs have been said to be timeless and my lyrics thought provoking. I've been able to have

crossed several genres and have influence some of today’s top music makers and performers. There is a positive and uplifting theme

in all of my recordings that seems to appeal to people of all ages, backgrounds and religious beliefs. Some of my compositions have

been the subject of study at major universities such as UC Berkeley and my arrangements have gained me international respect

amongst musicians.

I am currently performing nationally and internationally as both as a mainstream artist and a Gospel artist. I am happily married and

the proud father of three handsome boys; Jonathon Thomas Gibson 13, James Robert Gibson 11, and Jesse Earl Gibson 4, all of

which are musical prodigies. I am currently in the studio recording my 10th solo release entitled "Ready Gone" which will be ready for

release in Feb of 2010. The album is a memorial to my mentor and father Stanley Earl Gibson, dedicated to his life and memory. I

am currently seeking a home for this project and a publishing deal with a growing catalog of over 120 published works and over 300

unpublished songs.

Wrote and produced # 1 Hit entitled “God Loves a Broken Heart”. Worked with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra, Sammy Davis Jr., M.C. Hammer and Tramaine Hawkins.

Negotiated and secured worldwide distribution deal for Imagery Records. Worked with TD Jakes, Shirley Caesar, Be Be Winans, Kirk Franklin, Andrea Crouch, Billy Preston, Michael English and T.B.N. (Trinity Broadcast Network)
Worship Leader, Evangelist & Music Production Consultant: Helped the Trinity Broadcast Network launch their European station in Milan, Italy. Planned & organized special music programs, arranged choirs and led worship for a couple hundred, conferences, outreaches and televised programs including NBC, CBS, CBN and TBN. Was a featured Artist in the N.B.C. documentary on the history of Gospel music “Rhythm of The Heart”
Woodbridge Community Church - Senior Worship Pastor: Organized, planned all Sunday morning and evening worship programs. Pastoral duties, recruiting and mentoring worship team, rehearsals, charts and arrangements. Produced radio commercials and coordinated airtime.

CURRENTLY - Writing, producing and performing Internationaly. Currently completing 10th solo artist project. Writing songs and producing tracks for Major label artists (private). Headlining and performing, festivals, church conferences, premier concert halls and clubs. Seeking a recording deal and publishing deal for new project and growing catalog of over 300 Unpublished, original songs.
