Michael Bell is a Music Composer/Songwriter/Record Producer/Studio Engineer born and raised in Detroit, Michigan.

He started playing trumbone at the age of 13, only to find out 3 years later he had a love for the electric guitar. "I don't fully understand it, but every instrument I ever attempted to play came somewhat easy for me...drums - guitar - piano - bass - trumbone and other percussion instruments."

Michael started playing in bands in 1976, and from there he began to learn songwriting and producing skills and techniques. "My desire is to be given the oportunity to work with a reputable record label or publishing company, untilizing my skills and talents to its fullness.

I currently work fulltime out of my home based recording studio, writing, producing, and engineering demo recording projects for other people as an independent contractor. I also work for WDA (Wireless Developer Agency) as a music production assistant...producing and formatting ringtones for various record labels and recording artists."

Michael won $6000 worth of recording equipment in a 2004 songwriting competition at: songwriter.tv, and also was a finalist (four songs in three categories) in the UK 2004 International Songwriting Contest. He's had ninteen #1 songs on the broadjam Top 10 Charts in the past three years. As Michael would say, "writing a song is like taking a drink of water, I don t have to think about how to do it, it comes so naturally".
