Welcome to a new regular feature in the Music Jobs forum - Quick tips on helping our users make the most of their profile and utilize all the available tools here on the website.
Again, a switch up today: we’d like to let you know about our Twitter page, how you can connect and interact with us there, and how it may help you spot some new music jobs.
US Music Jobs has a Twitter page, and you can check it out here http://twitter.com/usmusicjobs . (fig. 1)
Once you have clicked on the ‘follow’ button on the left, you can click on one of the two icons to the right. The first enables you to send us a direct message, (this is private and viewable to only us), and the second button allows several options, including ‘mention usmusicjobs’ also known as an @reply (this is public and seen in your twitter stream, but we still receive an alerts that you mentioned us). (fig. 2)
You can also Retweet any of our posts, for instance if you think that a job we have highlighted is suitable for some of your friends and followers. Simply click on the ‘Retweet’ link underneath each post and confirm. (fig. 3)
