Welcome to a new regular feature in the Music Jobs forum - Quick tips on helping our users make the most of their profile and utilize all the available tools here on the website.
Again, a switch up today: we’d like to let you know about our Linkedin group, how you can connect and interact with us there, and how it may help you spot some new music jobs.
US Music Jobs has a Linkedin group, and you can check it out here http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=2848786 . (fig. 1)
Once you have clicked on the ‘Join Group’ button on the left, you can browse and comment on all discussions and topics in the group. We use the group to post feeds of all new music industry jobs, and as an open area for Linkedin members to discuss the US Music Jobs website as well as the music business in general. (fig. 2)
You can also start your own discussion by clicking on the ‘Start a Discussion’ link on the right hand side of any current thread. A box then appears next to your profile picture for you to type a title and your content. (fig. 3)
