Welcome to a new regular feature in the Music Jobs forum - Quick tips on helping our users make the most of their profile and utilize all the available tools here on the website.
Today we’re kicking off with a feature that we introduced recently, allowing you to connect to a number of other job search websites in the Music, TV, Film and media industries in various countries for free.
Firstly, log into Music Jobs as per usual.
Next, click on “My Profile” via the top toolbar, click “Account Setting” from the Privacy and Account Settings in the right hand menu, and then click on the “International” tab at the top of your profile. (fig. 1)
You will now see the entire list of websites and countries in which we find niche industry job vacancies. To sign up to a new website, click on the “Join Now’ button next to its name. You are taken to a new page, still currently within US Music Jobs, where you can type and select the job titles and locations which you are interested in. (fig. 2)
Once you click Submit, you are then taken to the website you chose, where you can update your resume and add alternative profile information for that market. You are able to switch back to US Music Jobs, or between any of the sites for which you choose, by selecting the drop down menu in the upper right hand corner. (fig 3)
