The Farstar www.myspace.com/farstar www.garageband.com/farstar is an (almost popular) noisy rock band. We’re auditioning for the following:

1. guitarist or synth player w/mandatory backing vocal ability.
2. drummer experienced with loops/sequences.

Qualifications: fun, team player attitude, hip stage-ready look and pro equipment and reliability. We rehearse 2-3 times/month North Dallas/Plano, perform 1-2 times/month and tour regionally. We are playing bigger venues, have several CD releases and songs spinning on local radio. Influences: Killers, Cure, Smiths, U2, Radiohead, Pavement, Pumpkins, Flaming Lips, Sonic Youth and Interpol. We are looking for capable players in this particular vein of music. This is probably not a band for old-timers or beginners. No funk, blues or metal need apply.
