We are seeking a VP, Music Publishing Controller.

Detailed Job Description/Responsibilities:
-Oversee the worldwide Music Publishing (“MP”) budget, forecast and flash process (including submissions, deliverables, and meetings).
-Prepare consolidated worldwide MP budget and forecast presentations for MP executive management.
-Participate in MP forecast/budget meetings and manage any resulting deliverables/action items from meetings, include debrief with attendees.
-Prepare and present overall MP cash forecast update to Corporate CFO on a weekly basis (13 week trailing cash flow).
-Complete overall review of the MP actual monthly and quarterly results.
-Discuss results with business unit finance (Finance Directors) to understand variance from expectations.
-Process information at a summary level for discussion with executive management team.
-Participate in investor relations quarter close meetings to discuss Q&A, script and SEC filings (including MD&A discussion).
-Final review and approve ad hoc analysis to MP management and third parties.
-Manage financials for MP corporate and executive overhead departments and monitor overall overhead spend compared to expectations (forecast/budget).
-Review quarterly head office invoicing processes.
-Provide financial guidance to MP executive management.
-Continue to develop relationships with business unit finance teams as a reliable business partner.
-Supervise team and provide timely performance feedback.
-Continue to improve processes and deliverables based on executive management’s changing needs.
-Pro-actively develop new reporting procedures and streamline current processes.

Required Competencies/Skills:
-Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience, preferably with some mixture of experience within public accounting and a large global company.
-Proficient knowledge of GAAP and related financial reporting regulations and standards.
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure and cultivate and develop key relationships.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to present financial information effectively and in a creative manner.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and delegate as needed.
-Strong oral and written communication skills are required along with the ability to influence others and interface with external contacts, internal management, and staff.
-Proven organizational efficiencies and business process re-engineering skills.
-Excellent customer service skills.
-Willingness to travel.

Special Requirements/Preferences:
-Excellent Excel skills required.
-Experience with SAP and HFM a plus.

Education Required/Preferred:
-A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a CPA certification is required.
