A leading manufacturer and supplier of DAddario, Planet Waves, Rico, Evans, HQ and PureSound, is seeking a U.S. Sales Manager to manage and support a professional team of Regional Sales Managers and Inside Sales Representatives.
In addition to sales personnel supervision, major responsibilities will include sales data analysis, establishment and execution of annual sales plans, U.S. market forecasting, and total U.S. sales management accountability. The successful candidate will also participate in the strategic development and sales management of national accounts. This position is based out of our headquarters in Farmingdale, Long Island.
We are seeking a candidate with at least five years of management experience overseeing the efforts of a field based team, and ten years of direct sales experience selling to retailers and/or distributors. The ideal person is able to articulate a strategy, while motivating and mobilizing personnel towards the strategys successful completion. He or she will possess an in-depth knowledge of the music industry, be highly motivated, have the ability to build strong business relationships, and must also be comfortable accepting significant responsibility and accountability for performance expectations. The position requires flexibility, adaptability and creativity. 50% travel expected.
