Music: The Department of Music invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position in Clarinet beginning August 15, 2009. Primary responsibilities are to teach undergraduate applied single and double reeds (clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, and oboe); direct woodwind ensembles; teach woodwind methods course, appear as a recitalist; recruit majors to the studio and teach non-majors as needed.
Additional experience or expertise in one or more of the following areas will enhance application: music appreciation, instrumental technology, and/or music theory/aural theory. Qualifications: an earned doctorate is preferred, ABD considered. Teaching experience at the college-level is preferred. Review of applications will continue until position is filled.
