About the job

Our sound department is looking for a supervising sound designer to work on the next generation of our games. This candidate needs to have extensive experience with weapons, sound design, and environmental audio. The supervising sound designer will work closely with game producers, artists, and designers in bringing their characters, creatures, and environments to life. The supervising sound designer also contributes to a game's user interface, in order to give players feedback on their gaming experience. This candidate is responsible for helping set the vision and direction for all sound efforts, as well as manage other sound designers. The ideal candidate is able to collaborate with game designers in making an audio experience that compliments and melds seamlessly with game-play. The ideal candidate should also have an outstanding ability to not only create excellent, original content, but to successfully integrate it into the final product --working with other designers, actors, artists, producers, and programmers to make sure that great concepts make the transition from the microphone to the game on the shelves.
