Description: Assists in production of advertising commercials, station promotions, and public service commitments.
General Responsibilities
• Produces commercial spots and station promotions
• Assists clients and sales personnel with the creation of copy and commercial production
• Monitors and maintains production equipment
• Organizes and maintains pre-recorded commercial files
• Maintains up-to-date music and sound effects library
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Knowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulations
• Understanding of station’s programming strategies
• Computer literacy in applicable programs such as Adobe Edition
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing
• Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels
• Ability to multi-task and handle pressures and deadlines
Education and Licensing Requirements
College Degree
Must possess valid state drivers license
Physical Requirements
May require lifting or moving up to 25 lbs. Ability to use computer for extended periods of time
Salary Negotiable with experience
