We are seeking a Sr. Audio Composer.

Job Summary:
The right candidate will have experience in composing music in the style of Action /Adventure, Contemporary and World Music genres. S/he will produce and/or record high quality music compositions for gaming products, i.e. slot machines. Responsible for integrating audio into a proprietary development environment, creating game audio playlists, producing an appropriate audio mix and implementation of sounds and sound design in the game.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Researches new sound technologies/recording techniques and incorporates them into audio productions
-Acquires audio asset requests from Producers for audio productions
-Create DAW workflow templates
-Maintains sample and sound libraries
-Spot audio files to movie clips for editing/sound design/mixing
-Create/update & maintain sample and sound libraries
-Composes original music
-Creates sound design
-Organize and saves game audio data to Smart SVN
-Record live instruments
-Create appropriate original music in different styles based on game design
-Meet with game producers for audio pre-production
-Casts voice talent
-Directs and/or records voice-over talent
-Files sound library contract with legal department
-Edits and enhances library music track when needed
-Open to taking direction
-Other duties as required

Requirements:
-Five to ten years multimedia audio asset creation experience
-Composition for gaming preferred but not mandatory
-Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Action, Adventure and World Music genres are the primary focus of this current position listing.
-Proficient with industry standard DAW-based composition and editing tools (Pro Tools/Logic Pro 9) (Pro Tools Preferred)
-Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
-Strong technical ability
-Proficient spotting audio to picture
-Good communications skills
-Proficient with file manipulation, such as sample rate conversion, and file format conversation
-Gaming experience preferred but not mandatory.

Education:
-High School/ GED Required
-College courses in music composition or keyboard performance preferred but not mandatory
