Bachelors Degree and minimum of one (1) year of office experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook e-mail Experience in music education preferred Familiarity with SCT PowerCampus college administration software helpful Accuracy and careful attention to detail for financial work Ability to balance and prioritize a variety of projects High level of discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information Exceptional organizational, analytical, and oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility allowing for quality relations with a variety of internal and external constituencies Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently Ability and willingness to work occasional evenings and Sundays as necessary
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under supervision of the Administrative Director, Correspond with vendors, faculty and staff Prepare, process, and record invoices, payment vouchers, and check requests Prepare revenue deposits Reconcile cash advances for special events Assist with reconciliation of monthly corporate credit card statements Assist with budget monitoring Help manage international orchestra performance tours, including dissemination of information, collection and processing of tour fees and forms, and preparation of international travel carnet Facilitate annual faculty contract process, including distribution and gathering of contracts and preparation of paperwork for Human Resources Maintain faculty data master file and assist in production of annual Faculty Directory Facilitate CORI/SORI checks on Prep/SCE Department employees (faculty & staff) Assist with the maintenance of staff position descriptions Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned.
