Were you Facebooking before Myspace even started being uncool? Did you reach elite status on Yelp in the first week? Do some of your Reddit throwaway accounts have more karma points than the moderators? Is your
first waking thought the perfect sentence structure for a hilariously spot-on Tweet? Did you buy your phone based its ability to sync your social networking accounts? If you answered yes to more than 2 of these
questions then you could be the perfect candidate for our social-networking intern.
Duties as social-networking intern will include:
- Update social media sites, forums and artist websites with upcoming gig and record release info
- Submit weekly report with social media and artist website stats.
- Research what sites are relevant, what sites are not (forums, blogs, etc).
- Send material to hot industry blogs.
- Seek new fans on FB, add new friends, follow relevant industry people and fans on Twitter.
- Seek new forums and blogs that are relative to each artist.
- Stay abreast of trends in the social-networking, allowing the studio to stay at the forefront of "cutting-edge."
We require the candidate to possess a large sense of humor that is reflected in their witty writing style; Mr./Ms. Grumpy Pants need not apply. We are
seeking a student, as this is an internship for credit position, requiring 10 - 15 hours per week. |
