We are seeking a driven assistant/intern for a high end Recording Studio in Hollywood, CA.

School credit will be provided if needed. Per diem expenses will be paid.

SKILLS NEEDED:

Mac/PC proficient.
Own laptop with wireless capabilities. (not required but preferred)
Own iphone, blackberry, or similar portable email device.
Adept with research.
Organizational skills.
Professional yet friendly phone demeanor.
Love and passion for music - stays up on entertainment news, trends, etc.
Great with meeting, greeting and introducing people to one another
Ability to perform computer tasks: creating invoices, timesheets, summaries, press releases, media alerts and emails are necessary, preferably on a Mac.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Studio Management, Artist Hospitality, Sponsor Relations, Event Planning, Marketing Research, Business Errands, Correspondence Maintenance, etc as well as small tasks such as: drycleaning, scheduling housekeeper, filtering e-mails, taking artists to the airport/spa/hotel etc, tidying up, cooking, sitting in on and taking notes in meetings, making reservations, etc.

***Information is sensitive, so confidentiality is very important.

***Discretion and proper behavior around celebrities, artists, media and high level executives is a must.


There is potential for growth within the company for the right person.

Hours will be flexible and based upon your school/work schedule. Constant ‘on-call’ availability is a plus.

This job will expose you to current musicians, celebrities, producers, writers, and photographers. Our popular clientele and busy lifestyles are high pressure but also exciting and rife with opportunity. Preferred personalities will adapt quickly to short deadlines while maintaining an organized, professional and socially pleasing demeanor. Communication, etiquette, and social skills are of utmost importance.
