We are looking for an experienced sales and/or concert industry professional to sell the company’s ticketing services to the live entertainment industry (music venues, promoters, and festivals). Qualified applicants must have experience with relationship selling, contacts in the concert/touring industry and enjoy music and travel.
Specific job duties include:
• Prospecting for new venue, promoter, and festival ticketing opportunities
• Identifying the needs of specific venues, promoters, and festivals and proposing appropriate solutions
• Traveling to visit prospective clients for in-person presentations/meetings
• Working with the marketing and other departments to coordinate sales support efforts
• Creating detailed proposals that address each prospect’s specific needs
• Conducting research to better understand the competition and their products, services, and value proposition
• Managing prospective and new client data
Skills and experience required:
• 3+ years of relationship selling experience
• Concert industry relationships – promoters, venues, festival producers, managers and other live entertainment professionals
• Ability to listen and react quickly to a prospective client’s problems and needs
• Strong phone and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and presentation proficiency (written and in-person).
• Skilled in all Microsoft Office products and Salesforce.com
• Experience and enthusiasm for working in small business, team-orientated environment.
Significant Travel required (roughly 25-30%). Job is based in Austin. Compensation is commensurate with experience. We offer a great work environment and a competitive benefits package to all qualified employees.
