We are looking for a talented Reporting Analyst – VBA for our Bridgewater, NJ team:
Act as key point of contact for day-to-day technical development, using VBA and Excel
Assist with department reporting and data analysis in Access, Excel, and VBA
Write Excel and VBA add-in programs to enhance and increase the power of existing applications
Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains applications.
Gathers and evaluates end user requirements; Generates daily, weekly, and monthly reports for end users.
Writes and compiles code, and constructs database objects based on documented design.
Modifies and/or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality
Identifies and resolves programming and/or application architecture problems.
Reviews system performance and application processes, and identifies and recommends improvements.
Integrates individual work into the larger framework of projects and department processes, ensuring that technical work effectively implements the strategic goals of department
Experience/Education Requirements:
A combination of experience and education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree
Strong analytical skills, independent problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are required
3 or more years experience maintaining complex databases is required
2 or more years experience in a user support environment is required
1 plus years experience working on business process improvement projects is desired
Excellent working knowledge of Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet and Windows is required; extensive overall knowledge of Microsoft Access involving data base design and implementations, data analysis, and creating reports is required
-Candidate should be able to provide a sample Access database he or she has developed which shows acceptable standards of user interface and coding skills, upon request.
