WE ARE NOW RECRUITING BANDS FOR 2010 EVENT

Our festival is one of the areas annual Premier Festivals. Over the past 22 years it has grown from a small afternoon picnic into a two-day celebration. A big attraction that draws thousands of people from across the region is the musical entertainment. In 2008 we were voted as the #1 Area Festival in the Riverfront Times Annual Readers Poll. Last year’s festival was featured nationally on The Travel Channel, PBS and CNN radio.

We are currently searching for bands to perform at the 2010 Festival. This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, June 5th and Sunday, June 6th. The Festival is held in Collinsville, Illinois (just 15 minutes from Downtown St. Louis).

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- All interested musicians and bands must submit a demo and any additional promo/press information. Please e-mail a brief description
of the band and the type of music and I will forward you our contact information.
- Bands will be expected to cover a three-hour time slot (with appropriate breaks).
- This is a NON-PROFIT event, therefore, compensation for most bands is around $500. Our headliner on Saturday evening, June 5th, may be compensated approx.$1,000. Headliners will be encouraged to assist in the promotion of our festival.
- This is a family oriented event open to all age groups (it’s not a BAR gig). You will be expected to be professional and your musical style should have a broad appeal.
- New or solo performers or non-musical entertainers (story-tellers, jugglers, magicians, dance groups, etc). may also submit their information to be considered for our Family Stage. In most cases these performers are not compensated for their participation, unless
