We are seeking a Publications & New Media Manager.

Qualifications include:
-Excellent computer, writing and editing skills
-Knowledge of Adobe CS4, Microsoft Office Suite
-Familiarity with Dreamweaver and FTP programs.
-Knowledge of social media platforms, HTML and PHP is important.
-This person should be self motivated and flexible enough to handle different tasks simultaneously.
-Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree and have at least 2 years related experience.

Direct Responsibilities:
-Schedule, write and implement print and electronic materials such as annual catalog, bi-annual newsletters, 100-page Gala Program Book, brochures, invitations, flyers, and email and social media campaigns.
-Manage production of all print materials created in-house or subcontracted.
-Basic design experience needed for some in-house jobs.
-Create timelines, adhere to budgets and deadlines and work directly with printers and designers securing bids and supervising job process.
-Manage and update website. (This position will also lead the development of a new website design in 2012-13).
-Promote events and programs through email marketing and social media, including blogs, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
-Analyze surveys and focus group data and work directly with student teams to assess best way to promote lessons and classes to increase enrollment.
-Seek out new avenues for promotion and engagement.
-Take photos and video of events and programs for use in publications and electronic media.
-Assist with special events such as annual Gala dinner, concerts, lectures, Open Houses and other specific events. Some weekend/evening attendance required.
-Maintain photo gallery & assist with communications and development mailings.
