Professional Recording Studio needs Experienced Engineer / Producer

We are a professional full-service recording studio in Kensington, MD, is in need of a talented and experienced audio engineer / music producer. Candidate must have engineered / produced on at least 5 complete CD projects before, must be capable of working on either Mac or PC, must be clean, punctual, and friendly, and must be open to doing all kinds of audio work (music production in all genres, voice-over / audio book editing and recording, corporate / commercial / jingles / PSAs, various levels of recording, mixing, and mastering). Ideal candidate will also be able to play and / or write for a variety of instruments, such as writing horn and string arrangements, or programming MIDI drums.
Experience and proven talent are crucial for this position. Recent audio school graduates with little or no actual studio experience need not apply. The current owner / chief engineer is looking for an "equal" talent to share the rapidly growing high-level workload in an efficient manner. Candidate must carry enough prestige to quickly earn the respect and business of existing clientele. Submit résumé via email.
