The Production Stage Manager is in charge of the rehearsal process and performances. During the rehearsal process the Stage Manager runs rehearsals, keeps track of blocking and line notes, schedules fittings, maintains communication within the company especially as it relates to the actors and director, and creates and distributes daily reports, schedules, and other paperwork. During performances the Stage Manager calls the show, maintains the artistic integrity of the production, makes rain and severe weather decisions, and creates and distributes paperwork. The Production Stage Manager also acts as a mentor to educate the Assistant Stage Manager Intern and the Globe Stage Manager Intern.
