Our theater (as featured in The New York Times, Madison Square Garden's "The Wizard of Oz" and on NBC's "Today in New York") is seeking a part-time production intern. Flexible days/times (ideally two days/wk in NYC plus additional days throughout the month in Westchester, depending in needs of current project). Job involves administrative duties (data entry, errands, basic layout/editing) at mid-town office and artistic/technical involvement in Westchester. Rehearsal studios are located in Elmsford, while most performances are at The Tarrytown Music Hall, where we are the resident children's theater.

Opportunity for hands-on theatrical experience is plentiful and can be tailored to fit the interests of the applicant. Past interns have worked as assistant directors/musical directors/choreographers, spot operators, lighting assistants, sound assistants, stage crew, child wranglers, costume assistants, rehearsal pianists, pit musicians and assistants to the production coordinators. Interns will also be involved at auditions, as casting sessions are held frequently.

Monthly stipend of $150 provided. Some transportation provided from mid-town to Westchester. Credit for college students may be arranged. Those interested should email cover a letter and resume.
