We are currently seeking a Production Coordinator, Mobile for the Universal City, CA location.

Overview:

UML Mobile Operations is looking for a Production Coordinator to assist with the day-to-day production of our expanding mobile content catalog. Responsibilities include coordinating the production of mobile content including the editing, encoding and delivery of audio/video mobile content.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing all mobile production for UMG’s Latin labels
• Manage content requests and priorities for labels and oversee internal production processes in order to ensure timely delivery of quality product
• Manage internal creative review of audio/visual products produced for labels
• Edit and produce audio-based mobile content as dictated by our mobile release schedule
• Adhere to all internal delivery schedules and ensure content meets all carrier and distribution partner requirements, etc.
• Maintain regular delivery of our product to all our distribution partners
• Meet departmental priorities and ensure that deadlines are met
• Coordinate with International production teams to launch and release label- approved content worldwide

Requirements:
• Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees at all levels of our company
• Audio editing/production experience required
• Intermediate knowledge of video/graphic content production helpful
• Intermediate computer skills - proficiency with Macintosh or PC computers and expertise in SoundForge, ProTools LE, Photoshop, Quicktime and other related audio/video/graphics production tools
• Experience with mobile-specific audio/video codecs, formats and encoding tools
• Must possess excellent creative, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Must be a quick learner and able to cope with a fast-paced rapidly changing work environment
• Must have high attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Must be a self starter and possess strong leadership abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Music or a music production background preferred
• Strong interest and knowledge of the music, entertainment & wireless industries required
• A strong interest and/or knowledge of music preferred
