Position Title: Part Time Production Artist/Graphic Designer
Benefits: Sick Time
Supervisor: Hired, trained and supervised by the Marketing & Communications Director. Interacts frequently with Communications Manager, Concert & School Departments.
Responsibilities: Produce eye-catching, interesting work for advertising, web, social media and mixed media in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
Salary: Competitive, 15 hours/week
- Must have 2 to 5 years of print production and design experience in an agency or non-profit environment
- Hands-on knowledge of design software programs such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop), and Macromedia Flash on either Mac or PC platforms
- Mastering of design elements such as color, composition and typography
- Knowledge of web programming, social media, A/V (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
- Good communication, great sense of humor, time management and organizational skills
- Own computer with software and ability to tele-commute a plus (minimum 3 hrs/week of face-to-face interaction at our headquarters)
