This vacancy was posted on 11/18/09 the world leader in fine Classical and Flamenco guitars, and we are looking for a seasoned new media marketing person with a love of the classical/flamenco guitar, combined with a strong background in PHP programming and a passion for music marketing. The ideal candidate would be an energetic self-starter who can quickly execute a variety of web-based projects while being able to successfully manage/modify our current web infrastructure.
This candidate will collaborate with members of the sales team to implement and execute the following kinds of projects:
-On-line Marketing and Advertising projects: Regular web-blasts targeted at various customer groups, by product types, etc. as well as SEO maintenance and any relevant on-line display advertising.
-Print Marketing and Advertising: Coordination and scheduling of print pieces, including annual or bi-annual catalogs, postcards, and various ads for magazines, festivals, and any other related/relevant mediums.
-Continuous and evolving website development (coding skills a plus) which leads to increased visitor traffic and improved customer interaction of the site, emphasis being on maintaining constantly changing multi-media sections with video, audio, news, etc.
-A love for guitar is a huge plus, as you would be constantly surrounded by world-class instruments and guitar-oriented products.
Desired Qualifications:
-3-5 years of relevant web developing experience
-Having built and operated a fully functional website a plus (experience with web-stores/shopping carts preferred)
-Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite
-Ability to write reliable code to support and execute a wide range of requests.
-Creative problem solving and ability to offer forward-thinking development ideas
-Strong grasp of e-Commerce and e-Business
-Must have working knowledge of PHP, HTML/CSS, Javascript and other essential programming languages
-Classical/flamenco guitar experience a huge plus
