This vacancy was posted on 07/29/09 Business Analyst will be expected to become an expert in the following areas:
1) Search Engine Marketing - We advises its clients on a wide-array of search engine marketing tactics. The business Analyst will work to develop keyword lists and strategize on the best way to reach the target audience. Analyst will be trained on search engine marketing technologies, experience with Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing and Facebook Ads a plus.
2) Online Media Buying - We buy and manage advertising campaigns for our clients. In this role, you will be required to research sites, complete media plans and execute the placements.
3) Define new features for our reporting suite - report(SE). We have developed a robust reporting suite to keep our clients up-to-date on every aspect of their campaigns. The Business Analyst is expected to become familiar with our reporting and provide input for new features and updates to the system.
4) Office Roles - We are a growing organization where everyone wears many hats. The Business Analyst will often be responsible for mailing marketing materials, generating prospect lists, organizing meetings, etc. This is not the focus of the job, but you should expect to spend 1-3 hours per week on these tasks.
Required Skills & Education
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or Advertising and/or related field.
• Thorough knowledge of the Internet
• Thorough knowledge of Online Marketing and Online Advertising
• Deep Interest in music, technology and pop culture
• Understanding of Excel
• Frequent, professional communication with clients
• Ability to think creatively when given new projects
• Ability to manage several different campaigns simultaneously
• Ability to work efficiently, independently and with a high level of professionalism. |
