About the job

We are the leader for music instruction in the Detroit area marketplace.
2 Michigan locations (Southfield and Canton) - Interns generally work in only one Academy.
Musical knowledge is NOT required, although an appreciation for music and the arts is expected.
We offer semester-long internships to high school and college students throughout the school year and summer.
Schedules are flexible around school and work: 8-24 hours/week, primarily afternoons and weekends.

Interns are not paid directly during the semester, however compensation includes the following benefits and perks:
- FREE WEEKLY LESSONS for your instrument of choice
- sit in on CLASSES for free anytime
- stipend and/or bonus related to hours (paid at the end of each semester)
- credit at most schools is available

We offer 4 different internship opportunities, each focusing on various aspects of its particular field.
While we always have room for high-caliber students in all fields, our current priority is Office Administration.

Our Office Admin interns will focus primarily on:
- maintaining offices, classrooms, and lesson studios
- managing files (copying, indexing, and sorting)
- answering telephones and greeting students and visitors
- cataloging, ordering, and distributing materials where needed
- improving overall communication and organizational skills
