Musicians: Top-level Philadelphia area based party cover band on the lookout for young (21-29 y/o) musicians. Band has been playing regularly for 7+ years, managed, and well-respected. Currently 8-10 dates/month.

Positions needed (Strong Instrumental Proficiency Required; but only minimal prior stage experience required): Drums Guitar Bass Guitar Horn (Trumpet or Trombone: if you play guitar and horn, or sing and play horn please let us know) Vocalist We are currently recruiting young musicians interested in playing in clubs all over the northeast (currently geographically spanning from Vermont to Virginia).

Following the start date members will enjoy IMMEDIATE weekend schedule (with potential for full-time gigging opportunities by '09), good pay, fun travel, and lots of opportunities. Quality bookings, quality management, immediate weekly immersion in the northeast club scene. Why start in the basement? Why spend up to two years seeking management? And why play unknown bars for several years before getting your shot at the best venues in the northeast? Consider joining this well-established group who will provide everything from bookings to rehearsal space to professional guidance. Who are we looking for? Most valued qualities include: 1) Classical training 2) Proficiency on several instruments (for example, guitar and trumpet -or- keyboards and trombone) 3) Marching Band experience is a plus 4) Youth (again, if you are not 21 to 29 years old, please do not inquire) 5) Modest to excellent vocal abilities (for background vox) 6) Motivation to play in a group that will most certainly stretch your comfort zone. Qualities we're not looking for? 1) 30+ years old 2) Self-taught musicians w/o training on at least 1 instrument 3) 10+ years of cover-band experience (Experience is good, but we're not looking for cover-band 'lifers') 4) Serious ROCK musicians (we're looking for fun people, not LA hopefuls) This is a fun party band, not a serious rock band. All musical genres from the 60's to the present are performed. The act includes party music, a little choreography, lots of stage interaction, and lots and lots of girls (if that's your sort of thing...).

A meeting will be held (date TBA) following a few weeks of recruitment, where details about the band and auditions will be described.
