We are looking for a caring, talented, energetic music educator to join our staff. We seek an experienced positive, flexible and creative individual who has a passion for working with children. Our global music program integrates classroom curriculum, music history, chorus, performances and recorder.
Ideal candidates have teaching experience in a Montessori environment, a passion for working with young children and are creative and excited about introducing music to students.
The candidate should also be flexible and interested in joining a vibrant and diverse faculty. 32 hours per week Monday through Friday. Qualifications: B.A or B.S. Three years experience teaching music to groups of younger children Ability to work well as a team member Experience working in a diverse population Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
