This vacancy was posted on 08/04/09 Established Los Angeles based music company licensing music in popular TV shows and Films is seeking a full-time in-house music supervisor for their creative division. This is a full-time salaried position.
Overview:
Candidate will search for music in the catalogue based on specific search parameters.
Candidate will provide clients with a multitude of options and deliver music to client on an FTP site.
Candidate should be familiar with the use of FTP sites, downloading music, converting music files and tagging music files with specific metadata information.
Candidate should be extremely knowledgeable of both contemporary music hits of today dating back to the 1940s.
Candidate will pitch music catalogue to both new clients and existing clients and will be responsible for generating pitch sheets and music submission reports on a weekly basis.
Candidate will have excellent phone skills and have at least two years experience in sales and marketing.
Must be a team player, be highly attentive to details, strong follow-through skills and be highly attentive to details.
Proficiency in I-Tunes, Microsoft Word and Outlook is required.
Salary is commensurate with experience. Company offers medical benefits and two weeks vacation pay annually
Candidate should be high energy, a go-getter and have excellent follow-through skills.
Candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in music supervision and be proficient in I-Tunes, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook,
Candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills and be able to handle a multitude of projects with ease.
Candidate should have a great ear for music and be familiar with a multitude of genres and types of music. |
