Product Specialist/Account Manager Report to: National Sales Manager

Job Description: The candidate will be responsible for demonstrating the products to all relevant Market segments (Music Directors, Music Educators, Retail Store employees and owners and the General Public). Facilitating sales either directly or through the Sales Management. The candidate is also required to understand the technology and application of the equipment and be able to utilize all forms of marketing collateral and marketing personnel to accomplish the monthly sales goals.

Duties and Responsibilities: -Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other Company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness. -Other duties as assigned by National Sales Manager. Achieving the forecasted Sales Plans -Own the quota. -Work with the National Sales Manager to identify and communicate with potential clients. -Identify and remove the obstacles to sales growth. -Coordinate and conduct regular sales calls with key and future clients. -Write, present, and close on proposed agreements with key clients.

Presentations: -Present the family of products to potential clients. -Understand and be able to utilize the presentation tools provided by the company. -Be able to adjust the presentations to different targeted demographics. -Present at trade shows. -Help to define, promote and support the Notion Music brand. -Stay current on market conditions, products, and competitive activity -Maintain relationship with major clients. -Travel on behalf of the company -Establish relationships and promote the Company with relevant trade associations. -Ensure appropriate company employees are informed on market trends and relevance for Company -products and services. Skills, Abilities: -Excellent organizational and communication skills required. -Must be a self starter -Must be able to travel extensively -Computer literate -Some CRM experience and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products -Requires a working knowledge of music software based products; music notation and music performance - Must have previous experience with sales and account management Credentials and Experience: -High School Diploma. Some formal music training. -5 plus years progressive experience sales. -The ability to play an instrument and read music to some degree.
