Job Description
Responsible for providing consultative music research services to new and to existing customers via telephone/email while working as our music collection expert in conjunction with sales consultants and clients. Acts as liaison between customers and the company sales and creative teams, providing internal feedback to maximize sales and enhance music collections.
Your Next Challenge:
* Responsible for serving as the creative bridge between the sales team and the companies clients in conducting music searches.
* Follow up with both client and sales consultant ensuring that music selection meets or exceeds expectations and, when appropriate, results in a sale.
* Responsible for providing exceptional customer service and research relative to requests for music.
* Communicate and educate customers to the Premium and Pump Audio music catalogs, and how to improve customer searching effectiveness using the Soundtrack Tool and the PumpBox.
* Ensure accurate, timely and consistent follow through with all customer requests and interactions.
* Work with sales staff on specific client visits to conduct web demos and educate clients on music collection content.
* Fufill Preferred Access requests, assist sales and clients with their Soundtrack Tool and PumpBox questions.
* Provide internal feedback on music and trends that are needed in our music catalogs and music that is not needed.
* Participate regularly in sales meetings, providing research training and updates when appropriate.
What You'll Need:
* A BA or BS, with an emphasis in photography/film, graphic design or advertising or equivalent experience.
* A minimum of 1-3 years experience in customer service and extensive knowledge of photography/film and/or visual arts. In some cases, may require experience in stock footage sales, research or editing.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Passion for music, strong understanding/knowledge in all genres of music and an interest/knowledge in the music of film, TV, video games and trailers.
* Familiarity with music and editing software preferred, such as Pro Tools and the Microsoft office suite including Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
* Previous work in the music industry is a plus.
* Foreign language skills (French, Spanish) a plus.
* Industryrelated experience preferred.
