We are looking for a lead production/event coordinator for our Ford Amphitheatre music show on August 10th, 2008 featuring some of America's hottest up & coming singer/songwriters and bands. The Ford Amphitheatre, with a capacity of 1250, is LA's most beautiful outdoor stage. The event will feature 3-4 singer/songwriters during a pre-show and 5 artists during the main stage. Both artists with major labels and indie artists will be represented. This is LA's premier evening for singer/songwriters. The individual will be responsible for all details related to the show, working closely with the promotions/public relations arm, the Ford staff, the Koffeehouse Advisory Board, Koffeehouse staff and volunteers. Must have previous festival or event coordination experience. Must be highly organized and detailed oriented. This is a once a year opportunity and unlike any other show in Los Angeles. This is a part-time position with hours increasing as the date approaches August 10th.
