Oversee the daily operations of the music/DVD department, ensuring all operations are consistent with our bookselling culture, world-class customer service focus and merchandising standards.
Play an integral role in the selection, evaluation and development of music sellers.
Foster an environment that is both employee-centric and customer-centric.
Focus on team development, maximizing sales and productivity, and providing outstanding customer service.

WHAT'S REQUIRED
At least one year of management experience, preferably in a retail environment.
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of the competition to identify opportunities and drive sales.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to provide focused direction and execute the workload.
Work on the music sales floor, requiring physical activity.
