Unpaid Internship position available with Independent Musician Management. We are a New York based company that specializes in promoting the careers of bands and musicians, we are looking for a dedicated self starting intern who is available two to three days a week - as well as occasional evenings and weekends - to work on all aspects of marketing, promoting and building the careers of musicians, bands and film composers on a national level.

Tasks include:
Helping to oversee the day to day needs of producing and promoting a national tour.
Working directly with artists on marketing and promotion projects
Organizing guest and press lists for events and performances
Advancing tour dates with night club bookers and promoters
Organizing and servicing bands press and publicity requests Overseeing and developing online promotion and marketing projects
Maintaining a calendar of bookings for clients
Organizing mailings
Production and stage management opportunities for some live events
Sending e-mail announcements

Job Requirements:
Good phone skills.
Computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Photoshop. Filing and organizational skills important.
