Job Description: Summer is approaching and we are looking for interns for a variety of its departments in the Los Angeles area (including Universal City, Santa Monica and West Los Angeles). Interested in the music industry? Want to learn more about the company?

Then an internship is a great way to gain exposure.
The internship program is designed to provide interested students with hands-on experience in the entertainment industry. Because today’s students may be tomorrow’s leaders, our desire is to provide these individuals with a meaningful and educational experience.

Internships are unpaid, for college credit only. Students must be enrolled FULL TIME. Full time enrollment is defined as 9 or more credits/units. *For summer sessions, interns must show proof of full-time enrollment for the Spring 2010 quarter or semester and must be continuing school in the fall. Students graduating this spring are not eligible to intern during this summer. Interns must also provide a school letter verifying that course credit will be received for the internship. All letters will be verified with schools/universities.

We offer internships in various departments including: Marketing, Publicity, Advertising, Radio, Promotions, A&R, New Media, Sales, Human Resources, Production, Creative, Soundtracks, Film & TV, Business Development, Finance, Licensing, Publishing, IT/IS, International, Business & Legal etc. Again, internships are UNPAID and for college credit only.

Candidates should possess exceptional computer, written and communication skills. Interns must be available to interview and work in the Los Angeles area.

Students must be enrolled full-time, be eligible to receive school credit from an accredited 2 or 4 year College or University and must be able to provide documentation from their school on or before their start date. If you cannot receive credit and/or cannot show proof as being enrolled full-time for the spring 2010 semester or quarter (minimum of 9 credits), you will not be considered for an internship.

***OUT OF STATE APPLICANTS: To be considered for a Los Angeles area internship, please indicate on your application when you intend to be in the Los Angeles area to participate in an internship. Travel and housing are NOT provided by the company.

Job Requirements:
• MUST GENERALLY BE ENROLLED AS A FULL-TIME STUDENT (for summer, you must show proof of full-time enrollment for spring. If you are graduating this spring, you do not qualify for a summer internship.)
• MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE ACADEMIC CREDIT
• Exceptional computer, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
• Interest in the music industry
• MS office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook experience preferred
• Quark Express, Photoshop, Illustrator and Final Cut Pro experience preferred for creative departments
