We are seeking a Music Director/On-Air Personality.
This is a full-time employee position.
This position will be tasked with scheduling music; an on-air shift; attending paid and non-paid public appearances, and production/imaging of the station. MD will ensure our position as the industry leader with regards to the best On-Air product, the Music Director/Programming Assistant will work directly with the Programming, Sales, and Promotion and Creative Departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Must be passionate about creating the right flow of music to brand the essence of the station
· Full-time music scheduling and production/imaging experience preferred
· Must demonstrate unique and creative ways to showcase station artists (ie: imaging, web, social media, contesting, etc.)
· Must have excellent presence at public appearances
· Preferred proficiency with Adobe Audition, Music Master, Maestro, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills, organizational and communications skills (both written and oral) with attention to detail.
· Proven ability to successfully handle multiple projects and meet critical deadlines.
· Must be a hard working, self motivated team player with a commitment to relationship-building, both internally and externally.
· Ability to attend offsite meetings, community events, or station functions if necessary, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
