We have an immediate opening for a Music Director to lead our worship band and choir.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent piano/keyboard skills in jazz/gospel/Christian music. Classical training is a plus.
Applicants should be Jesus-followers with experience leading worship, directing choirs, and working with pastors and committees in planning worship music and special musical events.
Applicants also need to be organized and skilled communicators.
Vocal skills are a definite plus.
Our worship is blended, open to many styles of music. Must enjoy playing with other professional musicians in a spiritually healthy church environment.
Time required:
-Sunday mornings (one service)
-6-8 hours of choir rehearsal per month
-Occasional band rehearsals
-Church holiday events including but not limited to Palm Sunday, Easter, Christmas Eve, and Christmas.
-Funerals and weddings (with additional compensation)
