We are seeking a Music Director/Conductor.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Choose repertoire; prepare and conduct a weekly rehearsal; conduct 3 concert programs; audition new members.
-Lead and share in an organizational vision.
-Conduct an annual concert tour of schools in the county.
-Be responsible for organizing concerto competition and sectional rehearsals.
-Consult with Orchestra Board and Music Director on policies and growth of the orchestral program
-Interact closely with parents’ organization
-Help with budgeting
-Participate in fundraising for our orchestra
-Coordinate periodic out of area orchestra trip

Requirements:
-High level of conducting skill and experience.
-Experience in education and programming music for young musicians.
-Demonstrate leadership and a commitment to education.
-Demonstrate ability in outstanding rehearsal technique and motivation of young musicians.
-Excellent organizational skills.
