We are seeking an entry-level assitant. The ideal candidate would have a strong passion for music and the recording industry. They would be highly creative and have a knack for marketing with a desire to learn more about marketing within the music industry. A music business degree is a definite plus! Our office environment is fun and playful, but requires hard work and discipline.

There are many people running about the small area and artists rehearsing in the back office. Someone who only works well in silence would never survive in this office. Your office room will be shared with 2-3 other employees at most times. Office area should be kept clean and employee should have a respect for others in the office. This position requires excellent organization and superior time management skills. In addition, candidate should be a fast learner who looks for an answer before asking for help and asks for help before doing something incorrectly. Supervisor is often out of the office in meetings and expects the assitant to take charge and handle office duties on their own. Candidate must have a working knowledge of social networks including Myspace, Facebook, iLike and YouTube and must have a solid working knowledge of basic html skills. Superior writing skills are a must! Basic graphic design skills are a major plus! You must have your own reliable transportation and must be willing to use your vehicle for office errands, which will be compensated at the national rate of 50.5cents/mile. Mileage to/from work from your residence will not be compensated.

Office located in Cool Springs, about 1/2 mile from P.F. Chang's. In addition, the ideal candidate would have a personal laptop which can be brought to the office and on any location for work purposes. There is a desktop PC in the office which may be used as well. Cell phone may be provided for work-related calls only. Hours are as standard as possible, but employee will be expected to have a flexbile schedule with possibly several late nights per week depending on current marketing projects. This could include artist showcases, tv tapings, after-dinner meetings etc. Position requires approx 30 hours per week to be paid on a bi-weekly basis. Compensation will be based on experience and will be payed hourly.
