Wanted: Part time Minister of Music & Worship Arts for an inclusive, diverse, urban Protestant church on NW side of Chicago. Primary responsibilities include play the piano (ability to play other instruments a plus) for worship services and co-leader of worship design and implementation. Our current worship style is traditional with a blend of contemporary and global music. Other responsibilities will be to direct seasonal adult choir and develop children’s choir. Person should have spiritual gifts of leadership and creative communication, be a team player and a Spirit-filled Christian.
Position to begin May 1, 2010. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Position will start at 6-8 hours per week. Our intention is that as the church and music program grows, so will your salary.
