About the job
We’re looking for an arranger to create realistic and engaging backing tracks for public domain songs to be used with a mobile educational game.
You would chose from a list of well-known public domain songs and provide an arrangement with, a (1) MIDI melody track; (2) Audio (AIFF) background track; (3) OPTIONAL, a Logic project file.
Lead/melody voice:
The lead voice is a tenor instrument (i.e. trombone) with preferable range around C3 (MIDI #60) — high of C4 (MIDI #72) and low of G (MIDI #43). Song length: Approximately 2:30 – 3:30 minutes.
Instruments: Virtual or real, but must sound real.
Orchestration: Varied, appropriate to the song and genre.
Style: Engaging, accessible and fun to someone untrained in music.
May involve interesting instrumentation, intros or interludes, dynamics, etc.
Please submit resume with link to your portfolio (or any samples).
