Besides having stellar people skills, youll be focused on education, engagement, retention, growth and the overall satisfaction of the company member community. We want you to be an expert on our member wants and needs and communicate them to the team at large. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our blogs and educational articles about the music business and our site.
Our new Member Relations Representative needs to be obsessed by music. You are in a band, or part of a music scene or music business. You plan your vacations around your gigs or your favorite festivals. You have a music blog or at least read and can talk about all of them. You have heard of our company, or may even be a member (if you work here it is free).
The Member Relations Representative role is an entry level position, so you dont need years of corporate experience to excel here. The most important things are that you're fantastic at communication, you learn quickly, and you're driven and dedicated to a career in the music industry. Skills with open source web technologies and audio engineering know-how is a huge plus, as you'll be expected to always be thinking of creative ways to engage and educate our community.
