About the job

The primary job of the Market Leader is to oversee the coordination and execution of all promotional operations. This job description is intended for positions where the responsibilities are routine in nature. This position is responsible for overseeing the execution of promotional events and special events including but not limited to:

-Release Parties
-Listening Parties
-Radio Promo Tours
-Meet and Greets
-Video Shoots

Market Leader Responsibilities/Qualifications include (but are not limited to):

-Attaining new business, as well as maintaining relationships and servicing current business.
-Successfully managing time, resources, people, relationships, and multiple projects.
-Experience in managing small to medium sized teams. (5-20)
-Thorough knowledge of industry trends and promotions/marketing strategies.
-Excellent communications skills.
-Thorough knowledge of industry trends and promotions/marketing strategies.
-The ability to gather information and accurately set forecasts based on a wide range of variables.
-Thorough understanding of entertainment marketing principles and theories.
-Professionalism in working with internal end external clients.
-Knowledge of basic PC and Mac environments and programs such as Microsoft Office, email client, web browsers, etc.
-An "outside the box" approach to work and managing people.
-A passion for success

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:

• Requires working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Photoshop and Outlook software packages.
• Requires ability to comprehend and write reports/recap summaries of promotional events.
• Requires a valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
• Requires good verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Experience and Education:
-College graduate preferred.
-3+ years in radio promotions experience with similar job responsibilities and requirements; desired, but not required.
-Experience in dealing with large crowds.
-Experience in entertaining people.

Necessary Language Skills:
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

Physical Demands:
-While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 + pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
