Digital Music Licensing and Royalties

The ideal candidate is someone with experience within the music licensing arena and strong knowledge of accounting and financial systems. They will be responsible for the execution of all aspects of the licensing department. This is a great opportunity for someone familiar with the specifics of building a music publishing administrations business.

Some Key Responsibilities and Qualities Include:
• Research and licensing of publishing rights
• Licensing & royalty administration
• Handling bulk licensing systems
• Royalty calculation and accounting to publishers
• Manage a team of researchers
• Securing licenses with copyright owners- both master and publishing
• Administer royalties & licenses with publishers
• Produce periodic financial reports
• Ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization

Required Experience:
• College degree (MBA or MA preferred)
• Counterpoint, AS-400, Oracle, Excel, Access Experience or related
• 2-3 years music licensing experience
• Strong accounting and administration skills
• Ability to work with a team in high growth, dynamic environment a must
• Strong knowledge of music licensing
• Experience with contracts and deal structuring
• Experience with dealing with music publishers
