We are seeking a Manager, Artist Analysis.

The manager will serve as a key resource for the Senior Director on qualitative and quantitative research projects that help develop insights into the relationship between our artists and fans.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with planning, designing, overseeing, analyzing, and reporting artist primary research projects
• Analyze raw data, draw conclusions from the information, and clearly articulate findings to label senior management
• Develop insights that shape strategy and drive key decisions
• Draw upon secondary research sources to capture the full breadth of the artist-fan relationship
• Comfortably manage numerous research projects simultaneously and work independently to ensure project completion
• Collaborate with labels to understand their business issues, ensuring they are framed appropriately to be addressed in the research
• Synthesize the true story from a variety of data sources, including both what consumers say and do
• Develop top line and detailed analysis, reports, presentations, and highlights covering key artist’s performance metrics and consumer demand
• Keep apprised of consumer trends, technology insights, and industry trends, and
use this knowledge to inform growth strategies and decisions.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Sales & Marketing or Business)
• 3+ years hands-on research experience at consumer-focused companies.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
• Expert with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in major consumer market research tools (e.g., Comscore, Google Analytics, Omniture, Nielsen, Crimson Hexagon, etc.)

Desired Skills/Experience:
• Cutting–edge, in-depth, understanding of consumer behavior, specifically as it relates to the music landscape
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment with heavy workload, and complete multiple projects with specific deadlines
• Deep understanding of the world of the recording artist and labels
• Strong communication skills: written, oral, and formal presentations
• Must be highly collaborative
• Extremely organized with a keen sense of attention to detail
