Live Sound Engineer

We currently have an opening for a LIVE SOUND ENGINEER to manage the live performances and maintain sound equipment (Full-time) for the venue.

The Live Sound Engineer must have strong working knowledge of SFX, live mixing, mini-disk decks, and the recording process. The sound engineer will be responsible to run sound for each live performance, and assist guest performers with programming the soundboard, and be responsible for the handling all of the sound needs of special events and “on the go” productions.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
• Manage/maintain all sound, lights, video and bar sound systems
• Program and run soundboard for all live performances
• Set up sound and mix additional projects as needed
• Engineer and record voiceovers, sound fx, announcements, and on hold phone messages for the venue
• Assist in load-in and strike for each production
• Maintain a clean and orderly recording studio, and assist in facility cleanup after load-ins and strikes
• Adhere to and advise on all safety procedures designated by the Music Director and/or General Manager, including but not limited to the use of personal protective devices and tool safety devices

Requirements:
3+ years experience managing live sound engagements
