We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freelance Live Audio Engineers who are based in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut).
Position Responsibilities:
• Work with production management staff to achieve desired volume and sound quality for content
• Read and execute Tech riders and associated paperwork for productions
• Maintains proficiency on applicable systems
• Applicant will be required to work nights and weekends
• Punctuality, professionalism, team player, positive and respectful attitude
Position Requirements:
• Experience working with both wired and wireless audio systems
• Experience with audio system set up and optimization (EQ, Crossover and Delay Settings)
• Working knowledge of basic signal flow principles (Stage Patch/FOH Patch)
• Working knowledge of basic gain structure principles (System and Console)
• Working knowledge of digital and analog consoles
Preferred Qualifications:
• General stagecraft and audio experience
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid license
• Able to lift up to 65 pounds
• Comfortable working at heights
• Comfortable with heavy equipment such as boom lifts, forklifts, and large trucks
